This Bedroom Renovation in Shepparton transformed two tired, dated bedrooms into calm, contemporary retreats designed for comfort, style, and long-term liveability. Both rooms shared the same story: warm-toned timber floors, dated furnishings, heavy curtains, and cluttered layouts that felt stuck in another era. While functional, neither space reflected the potential of the home or the lifestyle the clients were after.
The Cleland Built team completed a full scope of works across both bedrooms, stripping each room back and carefully preparing the surfaces for a complete transformation. The approach was deliberate and detail-focused from the outset, as it always is on a Cleland Built project.
What the Renovation Included
The first bedroom was refreshed with a clean, neutral palette replacing the warm beige tones. Heavy curtains and mismatched furnishings gave way to a streamlined, modern aesthetic with roller blinds, considered lighting, and a sleek new ceiling fan in matte black. Floating shelves and wall art added personality without clutter, while a fresh carpet in deep charcoal grounded the space and added warmth underfoot. The result is a well-proportioned, stylish room that photographs beautifully and feels like a genuine retreat.
The second bedroom underwent an equally impressive transformation. The original timber floor was retained and refreshed, but everything else was reimagined. Walls were repainted in a soft grey-white tone to brighten the room and make it feel more spacious. New window treatments, considered bedside lighting, and curated accessories created a hotel-inspired finish. The addition of a split-system air conditioner ensured year-round comfort, while the clean-lined furniture and artwork give the space a polished, cohesive feel.
Throughout both rooms, the Cleland Built team paid close attention to the quality of finishes, from clean paint lines and well-hung fixtures to proper preparation of all surfaces. Nothing was rushed, and nothing was overlooked.
The Difference Quality Makes
Before and after images tell the story clearly. What were once busy, dated bedrooms have become quiet, elegant spaces that make a strong impression. The transformation goes beyond cosmetics, with smart material choices, improved climate control, and thoughtful layouts meaning both rooms now work harder for the people using them every day.
This bedroom renovation in Shepparton is a strong example of how the right team, the right process, and an honest commitment to quality can completely change how a home feels to live in.
The clients were genuinely thrilled with the results, noting that the rooms felt unrecognisable compared to where they started, and that the experience working with the Cleland Built team was smooth, communicative, and professional from start to finish.
